Hi All! I'm new to the Atlassian Analytics. I created Dashboard using "Jira Software - Organization overview". I have 2 sites. How do I add a filter by site?

Hey Diana,

Thanks for reaching out to Community.

You can do this by doing the following:

  1. Inside of the dashboard, click on "Control" on the right pane.
  2. Then, hit "dropdown" button.
  3. In the "add dropdown control", set a name for the dropdown and pick your Data Source.
  4. In the "Column" field, type in "URL", and scroll down to the Workspace URL  and click on the "url" field.
  5. Click "Add".
  6. Drop the filter down and you'll see that you'll be able to filter by the URL of whatever sites you have.

Hope this helps!

We ran into a similar situation while managing multiple Jira sites for our team at Hub Mold Experts. The default Organization Overview dashboard doesn't provide a site filter out of the box, so we ended up editing the underlying charts and applying a Site filter where the dataset supported it. If the Site field isn't available, it's usually worth checking whether both Jira sites are connected correctly to Atlassian Analytics and whether the dataset includes the Site dimension. Could you confirm whether you're using the default dashboard template or a custom one?
