New (ish) use case for Rovo - Games

I was chatting with some friends about Dungeons and Dragons and thought to myself "hey - can Rovo be a dungeon master?". Turns out, it can!

This got me thinking what other games Rovo can help me play... so, I've put together a live session where we explore Rovo to see what other cans we can play (Sign up here!).

We'll explore the basics of Rovo - and how those basics can be used to do things that aren't the core use case (make it easier to work). We'll use the core concepts of prompting (like the TCREI framework) to have some fun.

@Robert Hean I can recommend hardware by elgato. I've managed to get an Elgato HD60 for 5€ on the German equivalent of your craigslist. You connect this via USB, plug in the console's HDMI on the IN and your monitor in the OUT. And with OBS or another video streaming software you can select the Elgato as source and stream the consoles video signal.
It does have delay of course when compared to the realtime audio of your mic, but might be fine still. :-)

P.S.: The problem solver in me took over, sorry. First of all I wanted to say what an amazing idea it is to use Rovo in that way in "normal life" and to extend this to other games. I see if I can fit in to participate, although US timezones can oftentimes be a bit tricky from Central Europe. :-)

Oh no, now I'm going to have to ask my company's Rovo to be our new DM - this wasn't on the 2026 bingo card whatsoever, but I'm so glad you mentioned it to try out! Thank you!

My comment re: connecting to XBox would be for Rovo to control it :P
