AI Is a Team Sport—Welcome Sven to the Field

During a recent Rovo AI Adoption class, someone asked, “How do I help my team see that AI is useful—not just another trend?”

I smiled. I’ve been there. It wasn’t a fancy presentation or a long document that changed minds. It was a teammate saying, “This saved me 2 hours today.”

That’s why I’m so excited to welcome @Sven Peters as an AI Evangelist. He explains things clearly, listens to users, and speaks multiple languages—so he can help teams around the world understand and use AI in ways that make sense for them.

But here’s the real question: What does successful AI use look like on your team?

Sometimes we measure it by tools. But real success comes when people use AI with confidence, ask better questions, and solve real problems—together.

This is how we grow—not by replacing people, but by helping them do their best work.

I think the key is to keep it bite-sized. Rovo so powerful and it is easy to get lost in all possibilities.

Start with one key feature/problem and build from that.

Thanks for this post, @DR. Valeri Colon _Connect Centric_! AI is all new to us. There are not many experts with years of prompt experience, so we all start at a similar level. It's the right time to try out Rovo and other AI technologies to discover how our work can benefit from them and drive better outcomes.

At Atlassian, we have the Teamwork Lab, which is a team of behavioural scientists that pioneers experiments and measures AI's impact on our work. I will regularly share our findings with the community.
