My use case is to create a multiple project status update/dashboard to be shared with the executives and department heads. I want to consider the scope, time, and cost and hence want to add fields like "Estimated efforts/hours", "Estimated Cost", and "Business priority" under each "project". If anyone has added this via Atlas or knows another Atlassian tool -please let me know. Thank you in advance.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Ability to add custom fields in Projects will be very useful, specifically if we want to see the priority details of projects in one view.
@Anish Deena - Do you have an update on when custom fields will be available or any details that can be shared on how they will work? Thanks
Hello ! Same thing here @Anish Deena !
I want to add something like "State", "type", "Category", "Activity area". Finally, fairly basic fields that are supposed to be found when creating a project. These are the first requirements of the specifications that I was given and I am already stuck ^^
Thank you !
Hi @Upasana.Arora @Nehal @David @Cédric PIETRAS
Hope you've all been well. I wanted to loop back and let you know that custom fields has now been released in Atlas Standard and Premium plans. We're super excited for you to try it out and let us know if it suits your needs. To learn more about custom fields, you can check out this article.
Hello ! Thank you for your message.
From my side, it's not usable. Or maybe I don't use it the right way ! How can we filter our reports in BigPicture, Tempo for example with those custom fields, created in Atlas ?
Sorry to say that but I think those fields should be natively available in Jira Software, not with a plugin or another product. Or maybe Jira Software should not use the term "Project" ?
Thank you @Rachel Lin for this update. I am so glad the feature is created. Bummed at the same time, wish it was available with "Free" version. On the pricing page of Atlassian website it says "Coming soon" and even when I clicked on "14-day free trail" it does not allow me or my billing admin to access. Is the feature released yet or will be in few days?
