We've got some exciting news to share — Assets Data Manager has a completely redesigned user interface along with a new, streamlined setup flow that makes getting started (or leveling up) easier than ever.

What Is Assets Data Manager?

If you're new to it — welcome! Assets Data Manager is a powerful capability within Jira Service Management that helps you bring all of your IT asset data together in one place. Instead of chasing down information across spreadsheets, discovery tools, and siloed systems, Data Manager lets you:

• Ingest data from multiple sources (think Lansweeper, CrowdStrike, Jamf, Flexera, and more)

• Cleanse and normalize that data so you're only working with what's accurate and relevant

• Reconcile everything into a single, trustworthy source of truth in your CMDB

The result? Your team gets a clear, reliable picture of every asset across your environment — making it easier to spot security vulnerabilities, stay compliant, manage software licenses, and reduce costs.
