Team '26 brought exciting announcements about how Teamwork Graph and Rovo are giving teams the context to move work forward. But all that AI-powered productivity raises an important question: is your data ready for it?

That's exactly what the breakout session Your AI is only as secure as your data explored. Rob Bissett, Head of Product for Information Protection at Atlassian, sat down with Sudhanva Ramesh, VP in the Office of Agile Tools at Synchrony Financial, to talk through what it really takes to get AI into the hands of your teams safely.

Sudhanva walked through how his team achieved approval from their security council for Rovo, and how Guard Premium protects their teams highest value work, including how a full-site scan recently helped them remediate thousands of sensitive content detections (in under an hour!) Today, they have thousands of Rovo users, hundreds of active agents, and tens of thousands of queries running every month.

Rob also gave us a look at what's next for Guard – including full-site content scanning, automatic data classification, and security controls for Rovo. Together, these capabilities are designed to give complex and regulated organizations the confidence to say yes to AI.
