cannot delete markers from product timeline in jira discovery

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
While using the timeline feature of the product roadmapping tool in JIRA Discovery, the view will create a diamond shaped "marker" anytime I click on one of the monthly headers. I can edit these by changing the title and color of the Marker. I can also move them around horizontally to change their placement. I cannot, however, get rid of them. There is no edit icon or a delete button that I can find. My only options are to drag and move it or to click it and edit it (but no delete). this is very annoying and obstructing my view of the timeline, at times. help

I figured it out. The default zoom of 100% hides the delete button from the editing popup. Changing the zoom to 90% allowed the button to display for me.
