Xray are currently enforcing "Scheme Streamlining" and "Data Guardrails".  Currenty im using xray and Cucumber with my test suite. as of feb 2026 im getting xray 500 . I notice that the test only wotk with cucumber files with a  2-4 coluum table . The bigger dtata set test are failing ... any thoughts ?  is this fro the new guardrails and datat limits ?

Hi @mathis_young

Welcome to the Atlassian community!

This looks like it lines up with the wider rollout of Jira Cloud data limits and guardrails, where new hard limits began phasing in from March 2026 across the whole Jira Cloud family, including apps built on top of Jira like Xray.

Have you opened a ticket with Xray support directly rather than trying to work around it yourself? They are in the best position to say whether this is a known interaction with the new guardrails and whether a fix or a different storage approach for large tables is coming.

Cheers, Martin
