Where to get the client id and secret key in order to use the Rest APIs of Jira Xray ?

Hari Krishnan June 11, 2024

We are planning to use the Rest APIs of Xray to post the automation execution results through playwright/webdriverio/codecept.io/.

To do so we are in need of  'client-id' and 'client-secret' to get authorized.

Let us know how we can get it.

Hi @Hari Krishnan,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

If you go to Apps > Manage apps you will see API keys under the Xray section on the left and from there you create API tokens. See Global Settings: API Keys for more information.

hi @Hari Krishnan were you able to integrate your codeceptJS test execution with XRay?
I am trying to do the same, whatever test scenario I am executing from codeceptJS, I'll update create a test execution and link XRay test cases to the execution and update the status using API.
