I did not know the gantt chart was a trial, am I going to be charged to keep using it? I thought it was free and I have a very important college level school project on there that I can't afford to pay for. I never put in my card information so I don't even know how I would be charged,
Thank you for posting! I’m Charlotte from WBS Gantt-chart support team.
@Jens Schumacher - Released.so is correct, the app is free if your Jira Instance has up to 10 users. And even after the trial has ended, it will continue free according to the condition I mentioned above.
For more information on prices for more than 10 users, you can check our Marketplace listing page here.
This should clarify things out for you, however don't hesitate to share your doubts or questions about the app, we'll be happy to help you! 😉
If you prefer to talk directly to us, you can also open a ticket in our support portal.

Thank you. Yes I have not added my card information anywhere in my account but I got two emails saying that my trial was up and that to avoid being charged I needed to go in and cancel the subscription. But I had not signed up for a subscription and have less than 10 users. And then I just got an email saying they cancelled my subscription. I just don't understand where all this information is coming from.

That's not the expected behavior for a free Jira instance. The marketplace is managed by Atlassian, so unfortunately, we don't have control over this kind o situation.
You can check your billing information by going to Jira Settings ⚙️ > Billing > find WBS Gantt-Chart for Jira in the list and click Manage. In this screen, you can see the list of apps you have, the number of users and how much you would be billed, for example:
I believe you can try to reactivate your subscription to an app, here is Atlassian's documentation on that. And if that doesn't work, we advise contacting the Atlassian support team, so that they can resolve this situation for you. You can open a ticket for them here.
Once again, let us know if we can be of assistance in any other way, please.

Are you talking about this app from the Atlassian marketplace or which Gantt Chart are you referring to?

If that is the app you are using, there seems to be a free 10-user tier. As long as your Jira instance has less than 10 users, there should not be any charge.
