Script Runner: Compare 2 dates

Hello,

I'm still beginner with script runner and I would like to find a way to compare the time between 2 date. I want to compare the time between my creation date and due date. My goal is to do statistic on time my users let me to resolve all issues.

if (issue.dueDate) { 
	return issue.dueDate - issue.createdDate 
}

I suppose my sample will not work like this. 

In Script Runner I use the function "Create a new Script Field"

Actually it will work. It will give you the number of days between dates.
