I'm looking for a Gantt chart add-on that can effectively visualize task hierarchies across multiple projects in a clear and structured view.
The goal is to visualize and manage dependencies within the following hierarchy:
Initiative → Epic → Story → Subtask
Key Requirements:
- Cross-Project Hierarchy Support: The Initiative is placed in one project, while Epics, Stories, and Subtasks exist in another. The connection between them is based on the linkage between initiative and epics.
- Gantt Chart Visualization: a clear timeline that reflects dependencies across different levels of the hierarchy.
- Drag-and-Drop Dependencies: ability to easily link tasks across projects within the Gantt interface.
- Advanced Filtering & Grouping: capability to filter by local filters, project, assignee, or hierarchy level.
I know that the advanced roadmap may be good for that matter, however, we don't have Jira Premium, and it's not an option, unfortunately.
Has anyone used BigPicture, ProScheduler, or similar add-ons for managing this type of cross-project hierarchy?
Which one do you think best fits these requirements?
