Increase size of transition button and status

I have long name for my transition and status. The transition as well as the status is button is not displaying all the characters. Could you please help me with fix. I have admin permissions for my JIRA instance. How do I incorporate all the characters. Please advise.

The limitation is set to 25 characters, there is an issue open for this :
