I am currently trying to use the plugin 'Tableau for confluence pro'.
I am able to get the Tableau viz to show but only on the default parameter setting and i am unable to get the plugin to change the parameter.
The parameter is working in tableau native because as i can do it manually via a web browser using the material here ->How View URLs Are Structured - Tableau
http://<servername>/#/views/<workbook>/sheet?param1=value1,value2¶m2=value
However after inputting all the information into the plugin the confluence view only brings back the default saved view of the viz and does not apply the new parameters.
investigating the source code via a browser i also cant see anywhere where the plugin is utilising the parameter request.
object class="tableauViz" width="1200" height="900" style="display:none;" |
param name="host_url" value="https://tableau.companynamehere.net/"/ |
param name="embed_code_version" value="3"/ |
param name="site_root" value="/t/sitenamehere"/ |
param name="name" value="WORKBOOKNAMEHERE/VIEWNAMEHERE"/ |
param name="tabs" value="no"/ |
param name="toolbar" value="yes"/ |
param name="showAppBanner" value="false"/ |
param name="filter" value="iframeSizedToWindow=true"/ |
/object |
Any assistance would be appreciated.
