I'd like other cross functional teams to be able to click over to the canvas and see a table that shows a jira filter. In this case open bugs in a project. Is this possible? Or do I have to post a URL?

Here's the list of what's possible with Jira and Slack integration:https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/use-jira-cloud-for-slack/Unless, there's some kind of mechanism to pull in the dashboard data into slack, URL is probably the way to go.May take a look at third party apps. Here's one I came across that may help with what you are aiming to do.
