How do I constrain question topics to a single space?

We started using Questions for Confluence about three years ago for a very large project--it quickly became unwieldy and we stopped using it for that reason. However, we have a new project now that we think would be a good candidate for Questions. The problem is, we have all those hundreds of topics and questions in the space already and we don't necessarily want to lose them.

So...is there some way to restrict a new topic set/question set to a single Confluence space? There will be some overlap in naming conventions, but we don't want any of the old questions to appear.

The documentation isn't very clear on this point. Any help most welcome. Thanks.

Hi Morgan,

This is not currently possible, but we have a feature request for it:

  • CONFSERVER-51707 Hide the ability to ask questions globally (or hide global questions) - enforce all questions to belong to a space

In addition, you should be aware that if you archive a space in Confluence, questions associated with that space will still appear.

Please feel free to vote on the above feature request, and watch it in order to see any updates.

Regards,

Shannon
