We are experiencing an issue with a Forge app used in Jira Service Management.
This app had already been registered in Data Security Policies for some time. However, even though we have not made any changes to the app, it suddenly stopped working.
The current symptoms are as follows.
Symptoms:
The Forge app no longer launches
We cannot retrieve issues using the Forge API
Forge events (such as issue created or updated) are no longer being received
What we have tried:
Removed the app from Data Security Policies
Confirmed that there were no changes to the Forge app code or configuration
However, the issue still persists even after removing the policy.
We would like to ask the following:
Can Data Security Policies affect Forge app behavior such as event delivery (triggers) or API access?
After removing a policy, is there any propagation delay or caching that could affect the app?
Are there any known issues between Forge apps and Data Security Policies, especially in Jira Service Management?
If anyone has experienced a similar issue or knows a possible cause or workaround, we would greatly appreciate your guidance.
