Error when trying to add marketplace item Svn Gateway

I'm trying to purchase a marketplace item:

Svn Gateway - Subversion links in Jira by Matrix Requirements GmbH

I'm receiving the error 

We ran into a little trouble

Unfortunately, we’re unable to process your request. Please retry again in some time."

I've already contacted the publisher and said everything is fine on their end and suggested I contact Atlassian support.   I've tried completely removing the tool from the account and starting over and I still receive the same error.

This generic 'unable to process' error usually indicates a backend billing or permission problem within the Atlassian platform rather than an issue with the app itself. Since you're on a Free plan, make sure your account has a valid billing address on file and you're trying the installation with Organization Administrator privileges. If the error continues, I recommend contacting Atlassian Billing Support directly, as they can resolve any stuck transaction states in the marketplace backend that are not visible to the app vendor.

If you had the app installed and then removed it previously, this specific sequence can sometimes cause a 'stuck' license state in the Marketplace backend that blocks a fresh setup.
