Dear Community,
we face a problem in our dashboards when it comes to choosing two Dynamic Filters. Within one Filter (e.g. Workstream) you can choose your Operator (e.g. Workstream = Migration AND Architecture// Workstream = Migration OR Architecture).
When we set two Dynamic Filters though (e.g. Workstream = Migration AND Affected Workstream = Migration) the operator between these two Filters is by default always AND and no option to have the query with an OR operator (e.g. Workstream = Migration OR Affected Workstream = Migration).
This leads to the risk of colleagues not seeing important issues because they naturally assume they're being showed all issues with either Workstream = Migration OR Affected Workstream = Migration.
Is there a workaround other than changing the operator in the JQL query every time?
Many thanks for any input!
Hi Konstantin,
If you're looking for more flexibility in dynamically filtering dashboards, you might find our app Quick Filters for Jira Dashboards particularly helpful. It allows for advanced filtering options and could potentially solve the issue you're facing with combining filters using different operators (AND/OR). You can define custom filters and use them across multiple dashboards, giving you the precise control you're looking for.
In our Quick Controller, you can also define the operator used to combine the filters.

Hi John,
Thanks for the suggestion. I believe it's Rich Filters by Appfire. I'll turn to their support team.
