Does iCalendar update?

I want to be able to share the Calendar that is in JIRA. I see there is an export iCalendar link, but it seems this only imports the issues that are on the calendar at that time. If I add many more issues to it later, the calendar does not get updated in my viewer (Google Calendars)

Is it supposed to update or is it just a straight Export?

seems it is static and does not update. too bad, that would be an amazing feature.
