Confused on tm4j API testresult POST method

In this API page,
https://support.smartbear.com/zephyr-scale-server/api-docs/v1/
when you go to this page
/testrun/{testRunKey}/testcase/{testCaseKey}/testresult
says
Creates a new Test Result on the specified Test Run
however it doesnt create a new result or execution, it just updates that spesifin test run in the cycle
if it created a new result, how will I see other results then ?
