I’m using a ConfiForms form opened through a Registrations Control button, and it has many fields. I’d like to add something like an expand macro inside the form, because not all fields need to be filled in every time. I already created sections to make it easier to use, but an expand option would be even better.
At the bottom of the form there’s always a + button that lets you show or edit the “Owned by” field. Something similar to that would be ideal. It would also be nice if it could collapse again afterwards.
Thanks in advance for any helpful comments!
Have you tried using the built-in expand macro from Confluence?
Yes, but it did not work for me. When I applied it like that, the form looked the same way as before, without the macro inserted.

Because you are mixing up form configuration (definition) and the view
see the ConfiForms Registrations Control macro - this defines the view/layout
put the expand macro and ConfiForms Field macros in there. Leave ConfiForms Field Definition macros alone (as part of the Form Definition)

Thank you for clearing that up!
I think I used it now correctly. It does show the Expand-Button now in my form, but when I click on it, it still does not, what it's supposed to. It doesn't react at all...

@Alex Medved _ConfiForms_ do you perhaps have any additional ideas on how to handle this issue or if I could be doing something wrong?

Most probably the expand macro doe snot work well with a dynamic contents (a dialog is a dynamic contents)
Do you have a possibility to have a user macro? Something like we have in our library - https://wiki.vertuna.com/spaces/VERTUNA/pages/31097311/Custom+expand+macro
It works well with any contents - be it in the page or be it the one that is created on-demand (a dialog for example)
