BigPicture - My progress percentage does not show up on the task bar

Hi all,

I'm facing an issue with epic for the last one where the percentage is not appearing while the other epics and story are displaying the percentage.

I'm probably missing something here, but can someone please help?

Hey Raghad! nice to meet you and welcome!! I saw Igor got you started on some troubleshooting tries. Igor looks to have got you a Try Case that wasn't quite the ticket.

When you shared your last Epic details and settings, that let me eliminate one more for you. The two Try Cases elim'd are:

  • Try Case 1: Looks like you have Child Tasks tied to the Epic (Igor's Try)
  • Try Case 2: And you did NOT have the 1st Epic nested under the last (my Try)

Another one if you want to take a shot at it is below:

  • Try Case 3: Check Child Task Estimates for last Epic - we are going to click on the last Epic and check that ALL time estimates and/or story points for Child Tasks are assigned. (Note: Missing values can sometimes affect %)

I think Igor just popped in with the next Try Case 4 I would have also advised:

  • Try Case 4: Review BigPicture View Settings

I just made a pretty heavy assumption about Igor's next Try Case; if I am incorrect, I will revise. Wanted to squeeze in one other possible easy fix I knew solved this exact issue for a team of mine couple yrs back.

Back to you, @Ingo Volkhausen sorry for the intrusion!

Hi @Raghad Alsinan

what happens when you add a child underneath. I assume then something can be summ up. Does this change then?

Hi Ingo,

i tried to add child , and you can notice that still i can't see the percentage. i though it it's an issue with the configuration but i don't know how to solve it

@Ingo Volkhausen Hi Ingo, I changed the status column to "status categories in %", but the percentage is still not appearing. What else would you suggest?
