Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
June 10, 2026

There are 48 national teams in the FIFA World Cup 2026, and thousands of partners in the Atlassian Marketplace. A few weeks ago we started mapping one onto the other — and the result said more about our ecosystem than we expected.

What we did

We built a public Trello board with one card per national team, grouped by qualifying group. The idea's simple: claim the team of the country you're from, work in, or just happen to love — and follow the tournament together. Marketplace partners, solution partners, Atlassian staff, community folks, all welcome. One card, one name, one flag next to it. You can follow matches easily in the board.

A couple of things that surprised us while mapping: Germany has the biggest Marketplace delegation we could find (~15 vendors), and all three host nations — USA, Canada, Mexico — are packed with partners. And there's one group we can't stop calling the Atlassian Derby: Group D puts the USA, Australia, Paraguay, and Türkiye in together, all with serious ecosystem presence. That one's going to be fun to watch.

The optional bit: a prediction game

For anyone who wants a bit of extra excitement, there's a prediction game; group winners, knockout outcomes, top scorer, final score — with an automated leaderboard. Predictions close June 11 at 21:00 CEST, right before the opening match (Mexico vs South Africa).

👉 Join the board: trello.com/b/W2PHekUP

👉 Play the prediction game (~3 min): prediction form

See which flag you end up next to. Good luck to every team — let's have some fun with this! ⚽

(Full disclosure: we're Avisi Apps from the Netherlands, a Marketplace Partner. "Atlas 2026 Football Team" is built for fun.)
