Hey Atlassian Community — Eric here from DataPingo.
Sharing something I built, and I'd genuinely like this group's read on it.
Here's what always bugged me. When you're working a project, you comment on tickets constantly — a heads-up, a question, a progress update, a nudge to move something along. And it's always one ticket at a time.
Jira's side panel makes each one quick — click a ticket, comment, click the next one down the list, repeat. For a handful of tickets that's genuinely fine, and I won't pretend otherwise. But it's still one comment box at a time: you can't see ten drafts together, send them in one go, or undo them as a set. And when the tickets live in different projects, a single board can't even show them side by side.
So I built Bulk Comments for Jira around one idea: gather whatever tickets you pick onto one page, and comment on all of them from there.
Pick your tickets —search, filter by project, or JQL, up to 25 tickets on a single screen.
Each ticket can get its own comment. Not the same note blasted to everyone — a different, hand-written comment per ticket, all on one page, sent in one go. Tell OPS-24 the refund hotfix is live, ask OPS-25 to confirm the repro, nudge OPS-26 for its deploy sign-off — a different note on each, one send.
Plus the basics I wouldn't skip: every send has an Undo, and comments post under your own name, not a bot.
If you've ever gone hunting around the board to leave a bunch of different notes, that's the itch I built this to scratch — so I'm genuinely curious how you handle it now. Batch it somehow, or just accept the clicking?
