Hi Kelsey and Atlassian Community

As a Chief Web Developer working in Italy, I have found that strategy and planning tools from the Atlassian Marketplace make a huge difference in keeping projects on track - especially when managing multiple updates for our financial tools and websites

Personally, I rely on Advanced Roadmaps and OKR for Jira to keep our development goals aligned with overall product strategy. The visibility they offer - from sprint planning to release tracking - really helps our remote team stay focused and accountable. We’ve also started using Automation for Jira to handle repetitive tasks like status updates and issue transitions, which saves hours every week.

These apps don’t just improve workflow; they help transform how our small team approaches long-term planning with clarity and data-driven insights.

Best regards

A.A. Silkina

We use Elements Publish to help with creating Confluence pages and Jira tickets from JSM tickets. Helps people with other licences to track their work.

Well, depends on what kind of planning we're talking about, but generally our clients and we usually lean towards Jira Plans (not an app, I know) and BigPicture. šŸ“ˆ

Then, if we talk about some kind of capacity planning, BigPicture is still in the game, with Capacity Planner from Tempo also having some nice features related to projecting team or individual capacity. Also, a new player (at least for us) is Activity Timeline, which also serves as a nice capacity planner. šŸ“Š
