Spectra - Interactive Dashboards & Charts for Jira (and Runs on Atlassian)

Stop exporting Jira to a spreadsheet just to see how work is flowing

If you've ever built a Jira dashboard, clicked a bar in a chart, and instinctively expected the rest of the page to filter with it — only to get nothing — you've hit the ceiling of stock Jira gadgets. They're static: one chart, one query, no connection to anything else on the page. So teams end up exporting to a spreadsheet or a BI tool just to ask a follow-up question.

We built Spectra to close that gap, directly inside Jira.

The two things that make it different

  • Click to cross-filter. Click any bar, pie slice, or pivot cell and every other widget on the dashboard refilters instantly — linked brushing, not a separate controller gadget. Multi-select, see your selections as chips, clear with one click......

...choose and explore

  • Metrics Jira doesn't store. Cycle time, time-in-status, WIP aging, SLA state, and reopens are computed from each issue's change history and become chartable dimensions — group, bucket, and trend them like any native field. No formula language, no JQL required to get there.

Point a dashboard at a project, board, saved filter, or custom JQL. Start from a template — team overview, cycle time & flow, SLA & aging, velocity & burndown, epics, dependencies & blockers — and tweak from there.

It's built on Atlassian Forge, so there's no external server and no data egress — issues and history never leave Atlassian.

Spectra is live on Marketplace: Spectra

Enjoy!

Greetings
