Our testing Jira extension is now compatible with Atlassian Government Cloud

If your agency is planning a move to Atlassian Government Cloud (AGC), we wanted to share something relevant for teams that rely on Requirements and Test Management (RTM) for Jira (or are currently using TestFLO DC).

RTM for Jira Cloud is compatible with AGC. That means you can move your Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management environment into a FedRAMP Moderate authorized platform and bring your requirements and test management workflows along with it, without giving up the tooling your teams already depend on.

Why this matters for public sector teams

AGC runs on segregated, US-based infrastructure built specifically for government agencies and contractors. It comes with FedRAMP Moderate authorization, role-based access control, detailed audit logging, and a 99.95% uptime SLA. For agencies that need to modernize without stepping outside compliance requirements, it's a meaningful option, and now RTM fits directly into that picture.

What this means for your data

If you're currently on RTM Data Center, the same automatic migrator used for standard RTM Cloud migrations also works for AGC migrations. When you migrate your Jira instance using JCMA, your requirements, test cases, test plans, executions, and defects all move along with it. No scripts, no manual re-entry.

A few things worth knowing before you plan your move

  • RTM Cloud has grown well beyond feature parity with Data Center, so the move brings some added capabilities along with the compliance benefits.
  • Migration planning matters. Every agency's setup is a little different, so it's worth mapping out your specific structure before starting.

  • Support is available throughout the process, whether you're moving directly to AGC or migrating to standard RTM Cloud first as a stepping stone.

If anyone here has already started planning an AGC migration, or has questions about how RTM fits into that plan, feel free to drop them below. Happy to share more detail or point you toward the right resources.
