🔹 New Gliffy Feature: Create Diagrams with Mermaid (Confluence Cloud)

Hi Gliffy users!  

Here’s an exciting update from my teammates at Gliffy to kick off the new year — our new Mermaid diagram editor is now available in Confluence Cloud!

If you’ve ever wished for a faster way to create UML diagrams, entity-relationship diagrams, and more, you’ll want to check this out. Mermaid allows you to generate technical diagrams from text and code so you can create and update the visuals in your Confluence documentation more efficiently.

...Or you can just jump into Gliffy and try it out! You’ll find it on the left-hand side of your screen with an icon that looks like a lightbulb

My company's Gliffy for Confluence doesn't appear to have the Mermaid integration available. Where can I find out what version numbers are supported/not supported? My version is 10.1.3. Thanks.

Hi @ANTHONY COX ! 

When I published this article, the mermaid functionality was only available for Confluence Cloud. We have since added Mermaid functionality to Confluence Data Center now, too — it's included in version 10.1.6. ☺️

I hope you can upgrade and give it a try soon! Let me know if you have any feedback!

Hi Team,

is it possible in to use aws icons/logo in mermaid diagram under gliffy?

I tried to use them but they are rendered as question mark boxes.

Hello @Anil Kumar,

You can generate your diagram using the Mermaid feature, and then you can drag the AWS icons onto the canvas -- let me know if you want all the individual steps.
