Impact that causes consequences

Lack of information

As a user in Jira, we are not aware of the consequences that we would run into if we have made small changes to our Jira spaces. We are talking about the following:

• Jira spaces names
• Jira space keys
• Workflow statuses
• Work item type names
• Field names

There isn't many documentation out there and we don't know what happens until it happens.

The problem

• Broken filters 
• Broken dashboards
• Broken JQL
• Broken automation rules

Jira doesn't give us any warnings. Only one message. Success. That's it. 

The solution

For that, a new custom solution on the marketplace was built, to help us be aware and be prepared for the changes. When the changes happen, we will know how to mitigate this problem. 

We will get the information for every space where we want to make a certain change.
