Hi all, Quentin from Appfire here đź‘‹
If you manage dashboards for more than one audience, you know how fast they multiply. Engineering wants to see their projects, leadership wants a high-level view, and support wants their queue. It’s the same underlying data, just filtered each time differently, so you end up building and maintaining a dozen near-identical dashboards, and every tweak means updating them one by one.
The real fix isn’t more dashboards, it’s one dashboard that each person can adjust to their own view. So we built Adaptive Filters in Dashboard Hub: viewers filter the data in real time to focus on what matters to them, without touching the underlying gadgets or needing a separate dashboard built for them.
Why this helps your team
Getting started is quick: any dashboard with at least one Jira gadget comes with a default set of filters — Projects, Work Item Types, Status, Assignee, Created Date — plus a free-text “Contains” field for exact matches. Watch this video to learn more.
How many dashboards are you really running?
Have you ended up with a pile of near-duplicate dashboards for different teams? How are you handling it today? Drop a note below.
If you want to set this up, our documentation covers the filter bar, gadget controls, and admin settings. And you’ll find Dashboard Hub on the Atlassian Marketplace.
