A fully revamped navigation, complete Tempo integration, Assets support, JQL autocomplete, and much more. Here's the full breakdown of what landed in this release.
π Whether you rely on Tempo for time tracking, manage Assets in Jira Service Management, or simply want a faster, smoother Jira experience on desktop β this release has something for you.
Two of the most visible changes hit the moment you open the app. The home navigation has been fully revamped, making it faster to jump between projects and recent work. The Manage Account screen has also been rebuilt from scratch β cleaner layout, better structure, easier to use.
Big news for teams running Tempo alongside Jira. The Desktop Connector for Jira now supports timesheets, worklogs, and direct time logging β without ever leaving the app.
Jira Service Management users can now browse asset lists, explore object types, and create new assets and object types directly in the app. Compass components on cloud instances are also now fully supported.
JQL autocomplete is now available while writing queries in Desktop Connector for Jira β a real time-saver for anyone doing advanced filtering. The timeline feature now shows issue progress inline, and Calendar filters support default issue types and default assignees so your views load ready to go.
Script Runner users on cloud also get a boost: the main fields, detail screens, search, and sorter are all now supported.
Beyond the headline features, this release brings a solid round of polish throughout the app:
