This latest version of the solution, brings a redesigned experience focused on making teamwork planning, workload allocation, easier to manage in Jira, and most importantly focused from the point of view of team availability.
With the latest update of Capacity for Jira you can now:
Review each teammate's availability per week over time their planned workload, and capacity status to make faster and fair work allocation decisions.
Advance faster and more accurately when assigning work by matching each teammate's specific skills (certified or not) with the project they need to be allocated to. This allows to make better staffing decisions.
Calculate capacity variance by comparing planned work against logged work, helping managers identify variations, manage risks, and improve future planning, from the same screen.
You can simply configure your current view by filtering availability planning by the projects, skills, teams or people of interest that needs to be reviewed and assigned by using a few dropdowns.
The same reliable view it has since the beginning which allows to use color-coded indicators (šµAvailable š¢Optimal š“Overloaded) to understand workload.
As you can see, the latest version of Capacity for Jira, is slowly becoming a go to the PMO, Project managers, team managers, and delivery owners to reduce manual workload checks, rebalance work faster, prevent bottlenecks, and keep team planning visible inside Jira.
