Apptoberfest is back again this October! 🎃

Last year, the Atlassian Community hosted an engaging Apptoberfest. With Customers participating in productive discussions and Marketplace Partners displaying so much creativity in the demo competition, Apptoberfest reached new heights! As October approaches, we eagerly anticipate the surprises Apptoberfest '25 will bring.

This year, Customers can engage in various activities to win Community Forums badges and official Atlassian swag. Here’s what to expect for Atlassian’s Apptoberfest:

💬 Weekly Community Discussions

Customers, like you, can share experiences and read stories about key apps for products such as Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and Bitbucket. Discussions will begin with a weekly prompt on the following topics:

• Oct 1, 2025 - Apps for DevOps

• Oct 8, 2025 - Apps for ITSM

• Oct 15, 2025 - Apps for Collaboration & Teamwork

• Oct 22, 2025 - Apps for Strategy & Planning

On each of the above dates, a discussion will kick off and you will have until Oct 26, 2025 to contribute to all of the conversations. Note, there are badges and prizes up for grabs to the participants (more details on these coming soon!)

🏆 App demo competition

Vote for your favorite demo in each of the four categories! Each Community member participating will receive 1 vote per app category for a total of 4 votes. Categories include:

• Apps for DevOps

  • Apps for planning, coding, testing, releasing, monitoring, and automating software delivery.

• Apps for ITSM

  • Apps for IT service management, customer support, and operations teams to deliver efficient service.       

• Apps for Collaboration & Teamwork

  • Apps that enhance team collaboration, communication, project management, and cross-functional work.

• Apps for Strategy & Planning

  • Apps that help leadership and strategy teams align goals, track progress, report, and gain insights to drive organizational outcomes across teams and projects.

Demos will be posted by our wildly creative Marketplace Partners from Oct 1, 2025 to Oct 17, 2025 and the voting polls will close at the end of the day on Oct 26, 2025. We will have a winner in each category, and they will be announced the following week AND be entered into the finale Appy Hour Party. 

🎉 Apptoberfest Appy Hour Party

(Date TBD) This is a final celebration capping off Apptoberfest! Join us for an ACE Event Appy Hour Party that will also serve as a demo battle for the finalist apps. We look forward to seeing all participants in a live setting and holding casual Apptoberfest banter!

Attention Marketplace Partners: If you’d like to participate in the demo competition, you will need to have an ‘Atlassian Partner’ lozenge on your Community Profile.
