October 17, 2024 edited
Here's why Idea Hub is important for your JPD project
Managing duplicates in your public feature request and product discovery boards can be a real headache. Duplicates and similar ideas will clutter your board, making it hard to prioritize features, leading to inconsistent analytics and wasted time on manual sorting. If missed, they can result in scattered votes and fragmented feedback, hiding the true value of ideas. With Idea Hub, keeping your idea board neat and organized is super easy. As new feature requests and ideas flood your product board, keeping track of duplicates becomes a daunting, time-consuming challenge. Our app scans all your boards to automatically identify similar and duplicate ideas you might have otherwise missed.
Here's how it solves the duplicates problem!
Syncs and analyzes JPD ideas with AI
Choose and sync Jira Product Discovery projects. AI will analyze ideas, creating a board of similar and duplicate ideas. Effortlessly identify connections and prioritize whatβs most important.
Compares and picks similar ideas across projects
Compares similar ideas across JPD projects or within the same project. Select pairs to merge, ensuring your product strategy stays organized and on track.
Merge, link, and archive duplicate ideas with ease
Choose how to merge, link, or archive similar ideas. Easily append or replace fields in target and duplicate ideas.

Hey, it looks interesting. Iβm curious about how the app processes our instance data. I assume a third-party AI is used. What is the level of privacy and data sharing?
@Sarp Egemen Great question! We are using client side embedding model that runs in your browser and creates an array of vectors out of JPD idea content. Which then is stored in vector database in as an array of vectors, which means it is not technically possible to reverse engineer to human readable language. This whole process is designed in a way so that your data does not leave your instance, and when it is stored at third party DB - it is stored as vectors which doesn't disclose any information to third party. I hope it makes sense and answers your question.
