Rename a team within Jira Agile

At the moment we are facing an issue within Jira. We have changed a team name from name 'A' to name 'B'.

It is important to update this change of name also in Jira.. My question is therefore on how to best do this without changing the teams key ID. Just simply the name.

When you say change the team name, what is the team in Jira?

Is it a project? Is it a shared team (in Advanced Roadmaps)? Or a team set up via People (if using Jira Cloud)?

Clarifying what the team is represented by will allow us to provide a specific answer :)
