How do I get my discrepancies and blockers from my projects to show up in my Plan that I created. It currently doesn't show the blockers and connections that are currently in my projects in the timeline view of my Plan.

Hi Jeff,

Could I confirm whether your instance has defined those links as dependencies within Plans using the Plans settings as described on part 2 of this support article?

By default Plans only includes the blocks/blocked by work item link as Plans requires an extra layer of configuration to understand which direction a dependency represented by a link flows.

Can you give more details about what you mean by discrepancies and blockers, as well as what you are expecting to see in exactly in your plan and what you are (not) seeing instead?

Hi Walter,

I created several Jira Work Management projects for Marketing purposes and then I went ahead and created a Plan called "Marketing Summary" linking these several projects. The issue that I'm having is that when links/blockers are created in the individual Projects using the timeline view to show that issues/tasks can't get started due to other tasks blocking it, those links/blockers don't show up in the main Marketing Summary Plan in timeline view.

But the weird thing is if I make those same connections (links/blockers) in the Marketing Summary Plan and save, then they do show up in the individual Projects. So it seems like it's only updating one way from the Plan to the Projects, but not from the Projects to the Plan. I hope that makes sense.
