Updating licence key runs forever..

I have got a new licence key for our Jira Server installation, upgrading from 250 to 500 users. We are running version 8.13.3

Updating seems to run forever. No error messages on screen, neither in the log files. 

Is there something wrong with the license key?

Hi @cro 

Please check which license from you team Server or Data Center.

Your apps will go away if its Data Center license!

Here are some points you can try to update the license key

• Go to my.atlassian.com and have the complete license key copied into the clipboard and paste it.
• Login into Jira on a fresh browser and update the license key.
• Restart the Jira instance and try to update the license key. 

Try this and please let me know if it fixed the issue.

Thanks, my license was wrong. Thought I should get a message about this, but instead it hung.

Unfortunately, Jira does not throw an error on this aspect!
