Jira Plans - Status Note Question

In Jira Plans, i created a board to organize some of the projects my team is working on. The biggest takeaway for this board is to have weekly updates available in the timeline view. But when adding a status note update in one of the columns as free text, the text gets cut off after a few characters.

Does anyone have an alternate solution to see a block of text in the view?

@Mu Jin Kim -

Welcome to the community.  Having a single line text field display in the plan is not recommended in my opinion because the real-estate spaces are limited.  The only thing I would can suggest is that if you hover over the value, then you can see the entire value, or you have to re-adjust other fields' column size to give more room for the text field.

Hope this makes sense and I know it may not be what you are looking for.  However, I would also suggest you to contact Atlassian Support (https://support.atlassian.com) to raise a possible enhancement request (i.e https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-21296 - a request for allowing the ability to add multi-line custom field to the AR for Jira plan) or obtaining further support.
