How to add Portfolio to an existing project

I have already created a project with Epics and stories.  I have only recently learnt about portfolio, and have started the free trial.

I dont want to have to create a new project in Portfolio, as i have already spent time adding Epics and stories,  Is it possible to link portfolio to an existing project.

Please advise.
