Does Portfolio allow you to assign items to more than 1 team? If no, plans to support in future?

I'm wondering:

1)  Is there plans for Portfolio to support this type of assignment?

2) With our install version of Portfolio (2.13.3), is there a workaround that we can do in Portfolio, or JIRA?  We used to assign teams to items in JIRA using components.  But this is isn't really good for planning that we're expecting from Portfolio.
