I was not aware that identifying yourself as a partner is mandatory. I used to have my company name next to my name a long time ago but it looks more like marketing to me than anything else and I think we should be neutral on the Community. That's why I removed it back then.

Because it's required I added it again. Perhaps it would be better to have a dedicated field in our profiles and show it next to our name automatically in a less obvious manner.

Second reason is I will always be greeted as "Charlie Misonne {Inetum-Realdolmen}" in my email notifications. Nice one, Charlie Misonne {Inetum-Realdolmen}! Your answer has been accepted. That's a bit weird :-)

some very good input thanks for sharing this. Indeed it is important to identify yourself as a partner but I do agree that simply adding it to the name is less than ideal for the reasons you specified. Might be a good opportunity to improve the Community product. I will mention it and get it added to the Trello board as a possible improvement idea. Thanks for sharing and thanks for being part of the Community.
