Working as a "developer" for many years, building, maintaining, developing in various languages helped me to understand how the computational thinking or the ability to break down problems can be as just as valuable than the baseline technical skills required for the job. Eager to understand how things work, I have decided on shifting over to "support", so I could be exposed to a greater variety of technologies and approaches taken by small, medium and enterprise companies on ways of tackling problems by understanding their businesses and needs.
I have spent a great time providing support for several customer whilst working for Atlassian, more specifically providing support for Bamboo and Bitbucket Server, with some insight and curiosity in the other Atlassian products. Not to mention on countless discussion about bugs and feature requests with the development team and product managers, pushing requests from the Atlassian Community and Jira issue tracker forward in attempt on having them implemented and/or prioritised, if that was not enough contributing with some pull-requests here and there, making your life easier while enjoying working with Atlassian products.
You may have heard one of them, Embedded Crowd in Bamboo v6.6.x. It was a great project with a considerable amount of back and forth planning and discussion about the feature and now, it is out there, available for you to use it.
Nowadays, I am a former Atlassian Premier Support Engineer (DevTools products) pursuing new challenges, bringing together the knowledge I have acquired throughout the years - and still do with your help - assisting enterprise companies on making the best use of the Atlassian toolset. And the Atlassian Community will be one of the channels I will continue on being connected. So let's gets in touch.
