Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Over the next few weeks, I will be posting a variety of tips about the various aspects of attending Team '24, most will be in person, but some will be for digital attendees. If you have your own tips to add, please share them in the comments below.

First up, I’d you don't live in or near a desert-like environment, you are going to find hydration to be a bit of an issue. Here are a few emergency supplies you should have with you at all times:

1. A water bottle

2. Chapstick

3. Throat lozenges

As an addendum to your three emergency supplies, I'd also advise first time (and even long time) attendees to know where the restrooms are in the Venetian conference center. It is VERY important to stay properly hydrated during a stay in Las Vegas - not only due to the arid environment outdoors and dry air in the hotels and casinos, but because attendees may consume more alcohol, a natural dehydrator (even though its liquid), than normal. The liquid diet can quickly catch up on someone not used to it, and knowing where the closest restroom is can be the difference between an enjoyable day and one that isn't too pleasant.

After my first few days in Vegas, I was shocked at how dry my skin was, and it almost looked like a snake on a mission to change its clothing :D 

Hydrating hand and face creams are a must (and it's not a female-specific thing either, so hear me out, guys!)

Not sure about this time of year, but it can get much cooler once the sun goes down, so you might want to bring a jacket of some sort. Of course, it may also be pretty chilly inside during the day with the air conditioning.

Although I'll be joining virtually this time, a couple of my teammates are headed to Vegas for TEAM24. I'll make sure to send these supplies along with them and remind them to keep them handy. There is a Walgreens just north of the where the outdoor part of the gondola rides are at the Venetian, along the strip. It's a really convenient spot to pick up these supplies and more without having to go too far!
