🚀 New improvements

Better Publishing Experience

The new Publishing dialog in Confluence allows control of where and who can view your page, scheduling posts, and notification management during the initial and subsequent publishing.

Confluence Transfer Page Ownership

A new Confluence feature - page ownership transfer allows a page creator, or admins, to assign a new page owner, improving continuity and communication for the team.

👀 Important announcements

Remove Invalid Values From Parent Link

This post announces the removal of Invalid parent link values resulting from issue type hierarchy changes to prevent unintended visibility of invalid parent-child relationships, aligning closely with the soon-to-be-introduced Parent field.

Building a Cross-product Forge App

This great tutorial shows you how to build cross product app in Jira and Confluence with Forge. The example app creates a Confluence page when a new Jira issue is created and embeds the Jira issue in the body of the page.

📚 Article of the week

When You Are Too Good at Your Job

Being great at your job can surprisingly hurt your career. As an overperformer, you can face three main risks - limited growth opportunities, harming workplace relationships, and risking burnout.

🚩🚩🚩There are a few red flags to look for like, for example, the reluctancy of managers to promote you because they "can't afford to let you go" or bullying in the workplace to undermine your work and last, pressure to take more and more work, that leads to working over time.
