I took a longer-than-planned hiatus from posting my Kudos cross-stitch creations, but I am happy to say that I am recharged from the winter break and ready to get back to it! And what better time to restart "WIP Wednesday" than on the FIRST WEDNESDAY of 2024!
Some of you may remember that I had several kudos in my Trello backlog that I was planning to tackle before the end of the year... that obviously did not happen AND I decided to do a complete different Kudos Badge. :P I fell in love with the "Wave Goodbye" Badge that came out in December and that was the end of my planned backlog.
For this badge, I decided to change what software I use to generate and edit my cross-stitch patterns. Floss Cross was a great site to use as a beginner but I couldn't have more than three patterns saved at a time which ended up being a pain. I am now using Stitch Fiddle which gives me ENDLESS pattern storage.
Here is the result of my "Wave Goodbye" cross-stitch pattern:
I am very pleased with how this pattern turned out and I figured out just how big I need to make the pattern so it fits in my embroidery hoops without any white space peeking out around the edges. :)
Thanks for reading and I will see you all next Wednesday!
