At one time, there was an effort in the business community to use terms of "inclusivity". As a result, any term having to do with "master" was something that needed to change.
If you agree with this philosophy, is the term "scrum master" something that should be changed?
I reference this article:

"Instead of using “Scrum Master,” a term used in the agile project management framework, the university suggests alternatives including “Scrum Custodian” and “Scrum Guardian,” to avoid any association with slavery."
Going to move this to a more appropriate group.

Hi @Clarence Koontz according to scrum.org, (which one of the scrum founders is a part of) the term still applies.
It would be my opinion that if you feel strongly about changing it, you could address it with them.
