i an trying a translate an odia book in pdf to odia text. then next i will be able to translate the odia text to english text, which is my ultimate objective.
Not sure if I am comprehending this correctly, but I recently did something similar (I think) with a French .pdf file that I wanted in English text.
I used an online tool to convert the French .pdf file to a .txt file, then copied the resulting text into Google translate and saved it as an English .txt file.
Something similar might work for you -- just search on PDF to Text converters.
