Today, we're celebrating “Alphabet Magnet Day!” the creative and playful way that alphabet magnets have helped us learn and communicate. But that's not all - we also want to hear from you!
Share a throwback moment when you came up with a creative solution to a problem or found a new use for something ordinary. What inspired you?
Maybe you used alphabet magnets to teach your kids the alphabet in a fun and interactive way. Or possibly you used them to create a motivational message on your fridge. Whatever it was, we want to hear about it!
Or, share a time when you used a creative idea to learn something new.
Did you use art to learn science, music to understand math, or build a LEGO model to grasp a programming concept?
We want to celebrate your innovative thinking and creativity!
Let's come together to celebrate the power of creativity and learning on this Alphabet Magnet Day.
Share your stories, inspire others, and let's keep the creativity flowing!
What a creative and fun idea! I can imagine how excited your team must have been to dive into a Lego retrospective
That's nice! At one of my previous employers we had on the fridge magnets with words and everyone who wanted to make a proposition could do it! Most of them were positive words and inspirational messages came out! Nice memories!
I'm sorry @Humashankar VJ, but I feel compelled to say something.
I think you should be aware by now that Throwback Thursday is the province of Kristján Geir Mathiesen (see https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Welcome-Center-articles/Throwback-Thursday-Happy-150th-TBT/ba-p/2642367).
I don't mind if you post similar discussions, but I don't think you should co-opt these types of weekly standards we have in the community.
@Barbara Szczesniak Sure thing - Will adhere to this one!!
When my daughter was little she had a box full of letters of the alphabet and numbers on magnets, we used them to learn words, do math, it was something very useful for her, because it allowed her to create, combine, play and made her think, currently we only The 8 letters of his name remain, the rest we donated to a children's shelter, but without a doubt it was a great experience

Hi @Vronik
Thanks for taking your time to share your memories,
What a wonderful story!
It's great to hear how those magnetic letters and numbers helped your daughter learn and grow. It's even more heartwarming that you donated the remaining pieces to a children's shelter, giving other kids the chance to benefit from them too!
I always liked the alphabet magnets, had a lot of them when my kids were young. Once we got a stainless steel fridge, they disappeared as they no longer would attach to the front. I missed them holding up kids' drawings, school reports, and fast food coupons.
A few years ago we moved into a new house and while unpacking I found the alphabet magnets. I now have them on the inside of one of the garage doors to my pole barn. I know when someone has been visiting my shop, as they will spell something new, probably sarcastically and/or inappropriately.
That's so funny!
I can just imagine the looks on your visitors faces when they see the messages spelled out on your garage door!
It's great that you're embracing the humor and creativity of the situation.
