I don't know about you, but I miss Friday Fun, so I thought I'd post something for this first Friday of 2025.
Today is National Drinking Straw Day (the paper drinking straw was patented on January 3, 1888). You now have a new useless fact for National Trivia Day tomorrow. 😁
So, the big question is, do you use a straw with a milkshake? (maybe your favorite shake is so thick that you cannot get it through the straw)
Other questions:
Have a wonderful Friday and a great weekend, everyone!
I use a straw AND dip my fries in the shake. Yum! My favorite is chocolate and vanilla mixed together. Whip Cream you ask? of course!!
@Colleen Gotling sweet and salty combo?! I'm a huge fan of those but never tried milkshake fries. 👀
@Colleen Gotling @Tomislav Tobijas _Koios_ This is a life changer move. Fries with milkshake or ice cream is a classic hack that takes it to another level
A Wendy's frosty with fries was my first foray into this tasty combo. Yum!
I think I only drink milkshakes when I go to McDonald's. Milkshakes aren't really a big thing here, but during these winter days, hot chocolate 🍫 is definitely a favorite. At local coffeehouses, it’s usually served with a straw as a standard. I personally prefer mine without whipped cream, but sometimes I go for it—just to mix things up and keep it interesting 😅
Wonderful topic @Barbara Szczesniak , I always use a straw for a milkshake, what's more, I even use one when I take a coffee-to-go :) As for my favorite milkshake flavor, it's probably chocolate.
I don't see my life working properly by having a milkshake without a straw. C'mon, @Barbara Szczesniak, behave! I cannot imagine life like this. xD
The same goes for boba tea.
Well, sometimes the shake is so thick that your lips end up sucked into the straw, rather than the milkshake coming up the straw. 😁 If you want to enjoy it before it melts enough to thin out, you need a 🥄
@Barbara Szczesniak, I think McDonald's has a really great spoon/straw. It's amazing. But you're right LOL, it can suck you back to the milkshake!!
And please don't get me starting with paper straws T.T I mean, I get it but, it's paper, and it still has plastic. No one wins.
